Being early in AI isn’t the moat you think it is.
The real edge? Staying current with the tools.
Platforms like AWS Bedrock, Azure AI Foundry, and Google Vertex AI are evolving faster than most bespoke LLM solutions can keep up with. If your product is tightly coupled to a single model or you’re still layering in things like RAG or web search manually, you’re likely missing out on what these platforms now offer out of the box — with better performance, governance, and scale. And killer control planes to prove value before you commit.
Case-in-point Thomson Reuters: They built an internal AI platform to give teams access to generative tools. But the real unlock came when they integrated AWS Bedrock — suddenly, they could spin up new use cases in hours, not days, and experiment with the latest models without re-architecting their stack.
The companies winning in this space aren’t just building — they’re iterating. They’re plugging into the right platforms, aligning with the right partners, and staying close to the edge of what’s possible.
If you’re leading AI strategy, ask yourself: are we moving fast enough to keep up with the tooling? Or are we betting on a moat that’s already been filled in?
Let’s talk if you’re looking to stay ahead of the curve.
